“Get Busy” featuring Bianca Lindgren – signed to Ego (Italy) in 2009 – is set to become a major hit in 2010. With MTV Europe on board with the video and essential radio plays from Kissy Sell Out on Radio 1 and by Steve Smart as his choice for the Weekend Floorfiller on KISS, it’s off to the best possible start.
Bassmonkeys were a near-permanent fixture in the dance charts in 2009 – whether for their original works or as remix contributors for other artists. “Bad 4 My Health” featuring JD Rox (produced in collaboration with Soulshaker) closed out the year in style by peaking at #1 in the DMC world charts and #2 in Music Week. The creativity and diversity of styles that the boys deliver has earned them respect across the board, resulting in over 20 remix works being commissioned in 2009 by many of the biggest labels in the business.
A whirlwind Australian DJ tour with Rising Dayclub is scheduled for Easter 2010 – the boys will be hitting Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.
The ever-stronger relationship with Mark Doyle and the Fierce Angel team continues to bear fruit – with Bassmonkeys’ productions featuring on and/or being commissioned for nearly every release and two special Bassmonkeys EPs in the pipeline. Expect to see the lads at a Fierce Angel event near you soon!
It started out as just a bit of fun, but “The Bassmonkeys Show” has rapidly gained popularity. It is now aired on various radio stations globally and is available to listen to online via the major house music podcast sites, featuring guest mixes from the biggest names around including Freemasons & Ian Carey.

“Truly” featuring Maria Ileva - has become a national hit in Bulgaria!! The track toped the charts peaking at number 2 and remained there for two weeks. (14 weeks in charts so far and counting..). The track has also been featured on a Kit-Kat TV Commercial across the whole of Central Europe!
